Events and Exhibits/Seguin Guadalupe County Heritage Museum

The Seguin Heritage Museum has "worn a lot of "hats" , it was a grocery store, a pool hall, an
S & H Green Stamp Store and now it houses the county's largest, most complete photography collection, The Leon Collection. Also the Strictly Seguin Shop, has timely and unique items for sale, from postcards to pottery, you'll find an assortment of locally-produced gifts and souvenirs there.
Please visit : http://www.theheritagemuseum.org/ for specifics on the current exhibits at the Seguin-Guadalupe County Heritage Museum where thousands of years of history *"come alive in the objects among the displays. Since it's establishment in 1997, the museum's permanent collection has grown to tens of thousands of objects from prehistoric artifacts to ceramics, jewelry, textiles, utility items, photographs, and numerous installations.
The museum's extensive photography collection complements the artifacts in the permanent collection and is an important resource for geneaology and historical research for local residents.
The collections present a detailed overview of stylistic and iconographic trends beginning in the mid 19th century. Importantly, the collections also serve to preserve a unique visual record that reflects the cultural movements of the past while, at the same time, providing a rich framework for future growth."
